Lokal Hotel is launching on April 1, but I got a chance to peek inside before then! Ethan (from Lokal) set up a morning shoot for me and Khoi. In between getting style shots for Khoi, I also snuck in a few photos for myself. I couldn’t help it; the interior by Jersey Ice Cream Co was too beautiful!
Berlin
After sweating it out in Italy, I couldn’t wait to spend the last week of my summer vacation in Berlin. If you’re looking for a place to go that has a comfortable summer temperature, Berlin is the place.
Venice
So. You must know that almost all my blog posts are published super late. For example, my trip to Venice was back in August, but I haven’t published this blog post until now. The way I’m able to remember details of the trip and write these blog posts so much later is because I write little notes to myself on my secret Tumblr, and often when I’m on vacation, I’ll post informal diaries on my secret Tumblr. Anyways, I mention this because there’s one “diary” entry that just says: standing at the edge of the boat with the waves beneath my feet, I’ve never wanted more to be a dolphin. I don’t know what else to say about that o.o Okaaay Audrey, moving right along…
Florence
We lost Mom while walking from the train to our Airbnb, so we headed to the nearest Hermès store to wait for her, coz we know where she at.
Brooklyn (outtakes)
These are the photos that didn’t make the cut, not necessarily because they weren’t good enough, but because they didn’t follow the theme I had envisioned for the photoshoot. (Okay maybe it was just that the colours gave off different vibes, which made it seem less like of a cohesive collection.) But also because some of them weren’t good enough. If you missed my Brooklyn photoshoot, you can check it out here!
Brooklyn – 1/12
Despite having fun in New York City the last time I visited, I realised that it wasn’t the city for me. I know that there’s lots to do in NYC, but for some reason, my friends and I always just end up in Koreatown, which, to me, isn’t a great pay off for a two hour bus ride and then having to navigate through the NYC crowds. But living in Philly, I knew I’d find myself in NYC soon enough, despite my misgivings. I decided that to spice up my next visit, I’d dress up like I had somewhere to go–a fabulous New Yorker with a reason, a story, a party, a tea, something. Kat, Stephanie, and Julia were excited about this idea, so we made our day trip to NYC on the first weekend of school, ya know, before the schoolwork kicks in. Just in time to keep up with my 2017 blogging challenge of having a photoshoot a month!
