This past week was both long and short. It was a blur. Honestly I didn’t do very much. I’m usually good about not sleeping in, but this past week I probably spent most of my time in bed. I was feeling down for no particular reason and found it hard to find motivation to do things. (Don’t worry about me! I’m fine, just a little moodier than usual.) Normally if I feel like this for awhile, I’d go for a swim in hopes of catching some endorphins, but my cartilage piercing was feeling sensitive so I didn’t want to risk it. And also it’s so cold in the mornings, which makes it hard to get out of bed. And I need to get more sleep now that I’m not relying on coffee anymore. This week I’m going to try to get early kickstarts to the days, and get myself out of the apartment with meetings or work sessions with friends.
// Marjorie made me ddeokbokki! I got back from my evening class at UPenn and it was waiting for me on the dining table :’)
// My professor wrote “love it! lol” on my quiz. Thanks dood.
// The Her Campus Bryn Mawr Instagram is going well! It’s actually not my responsibility as we have a social media director, but this past week we’ve had to post sponsored content, and since all the products were mailed to me, I was in possession of all the products and thus took over the content creation for it. Anyways, one Her Campus chapter dm-ed us to say they loved the creativity of our sponsored giveaway, and another Her Campus chapter left a comment to say that they were in love with our feed and graphics! (I make all the graphics and have been taking most of the photos hehe soooooo I was happy to hear that they were appreciated. They’re pretty simple and I don’t spend a lot of time on them, but it does take planning.)
// I’m not very active on Facebook, but this past week I shared my photoshoot with Azalia on Facebook, and the response from our college friends was so amazing! It’s always exciting to share creative pursuits with people in my everyday life. I may or may not have more clients this year??
// The first Senior Cocktail of the year was this past Friday! I didn’t really enjoy it myself because I’m not interested in those kinds of events but went anyway because it was a senior thing and I figured I’d go to the first one and then skip the rest. But I enjoyed hanging out with the Grace, Georgina, Ami, and Victoria before Senior Cocktails whilst getting ready for it. It was a lot of fun haha. That was the party for me ^-^ Lots of bad selfies, which means good memories.
// I’ve been drinking a lot of hot chocolate!
How was your week?
