A set of photos, one colour, every week.
We didn’t get a new colour this week, so I decided to go back and do a colour I had missed: pink! I was particularly excited for this one because of the Instagram account londonispink. If you’ve been following along on the blog, Instagram, or Snapchat, then you’ll know that I’ve been traveling, and this weekend I was in London, so I got a chance to do my own londonispink. When this post goes live, I’ll have arrived in Paris!
Getting myself out of the house is the greatest challenge of the photography challenge, so I thought it’d be pretty easy for me this week; I knew I’d have a travel itinerary planned, which meant that the get-yourself-out-of-the-house challenge would be sorted. But it turned out to be not quite as easy as I thought it’d be.
Last week I sat in a cafe, sipped on coffee, and read a book, all in one place and all at a leisurely pace. This week was different; it was very fast-paced. There were so many sights to see and so many tourists to weave through. I saw some pink things in the distance, would make a note to snap a photo when I walked past it, and then would rush on. I think that might explain why the pinks I found this weekend were more obvious. Still, I had a good time walking through London!
That made me realise, for those of us who think that they “can’t” do the photography challenge because they don’t go out too much, that’s not as huge a concern as you might think. In fact, it might be better to stay in one place and really see it.
Join the photography challenge! (You’ll have to pop by Lulu’s blog to see what next week’s colour is because I have no clue lol)
